Rusty's Simple Grunge Tutorial

I will be posting Tutorials on a Regular basis now obviously the Tutorials getting more Advanced as i go along.

Step 1:
Open a new Document with the size 450x150 or any you like. Then load your Grunge brushes and use colors Black & White. After you've done this DUPLICATE this layer!

Step 2:
Paste in your render and duplicate it several times and place it horizontally like below.

Step 3:
Now go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and set settings to 60, then set blending Mode to "Overlay"

Step 4:
Make your original Render visable again and duplicate it and set Motion blur to 60 and set the Blending Mode to Linear Dodge and Opacity to around 60-70.

OPTIONAL!! - You can use your Eraser and load grunge brushes again and erase the edges of the render

Step 5:
Using the Eyedropper tool select two colors from your Render preferrably one Light and one Dark, then go to Layer > New Layer Adjustment > Gradient Map. Play around witht hat then set the blending mode to one that Suits it best i set mine to Lighten.

Step 6:
Then add any final touches you wish to make it stand out - Borders, Textures, Curves etc etc.
