![]() Before i go on you MUST have a Dark signature as too much light and you won't see the Rain so lets begin then, I'll be using a Spiderman Signature here it is: ![]() So once you'v opened it make a New Layer and fill it with Black, select your new Layer and go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. (Tick Monochromic) ![]() Then go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. ![]() Then go to Image > Adjustments > Levels. (Don't Touch Output Settings) ![]() Set the rain layer to Screen and set Opacity to 50%, now you should have something like mine. ![]() Now i will show you how to animate it with Little Effort, enlarge your rain layer slightly and place into position, go to Window > Animation if your animation box isn't already opened. Create a new Frame and move the Rain layer slightly till you have Six Unique Frames no Delay timer is needed so simply Save Optimized As. Final Result:

You've inspired me to do these tuts too so we can keep GS alive ![]() If you don't want to use it often, you can get the Trial from Adobe site , go to the search and search for Adobe Photoshop, unfortunatly you will have to download photoshop too because it comes with Imageready
